We founded the Symbian Developer Cooperative (DevCo), a non-profit organisation, to raise the profile of individuals within the Symbian community and give individuals a full voice in the governance of the Symbian platform.

Individuals can make a great impact on the evolution and adoption of the Symbian platform. We are calling on all individuals passionate about the future of Symbian to join DevCo and collaborate with those who share your enthusiasm.

DevCo is member organisation of the Symbian Foundation, which gives our participants, known as “Associates”, the same rights and benefits as employees of other Symbian member companies. This includes, for example, the chance to stand for election to the Symbian Councils, which govern the evolution of the platform.

We plan to be rebellious, loud, challenging, critical and outrageously creative – right at the heart of Symbian governance.

Participation in DevCo is open to anyone and free of charge. All you need to do to become an Associate and play a leading role in the Symbian community is fill out the application form and agree to the click-through legal documents. That’s all it takes.

We look forward to welcoming you at the start of our journey!
